When it arrives
What to check when the box comes
A few minutes on the day it arrives saves a panic on the morning of the exhibition.
Open carefully, keep the box
The box is the safest way to carry the model to school, and you need it for any return.
Check what is inside
Compare with the listing: the model, the printed report if the listing says "with report", and any adapter or battery it mentions.
Test it the same day
Switch it on and let it run for a few minutes, days before the exhibition and not on the morning.
Fresh batteries for the day
Fit new batteries the day before and carry spares in your bag.
Read and practise
Read the report and practise the explanation aloud with the model in front of you.
Store it well
Take the batteries out, keep it dry and covered, and out of reach of small children.
Carry it safely
Pack it back in its box, tape down loose wires, and take insulating tape and a spare wire.
If something is wrong
For a marketplace order, go to your order page there straight away: replacements and returns follow the marketplace's policy.

Questions about buying projects and kits
Still have a question?
Chat on WhatsAppHow do I buy a science project kit or working model?
Tap Buy on Amazon on the product card or the product page. It opens the listing in our Amazon store, where you pay and see the delivery date for your PIN code. Products without a buy button are made to order: ask on WhatsApp.
What is the difference between ready-made projects, kits and spare parts?
A ready-made project arrives assembled and working, ready to present. A kit has the parts and the instructions, so the student builds it. Spare parts are single components for your own design or for a repair.
Which classes are the projects for?
Class 1 to 12 and college. Junior working models cover physics, chemistry, biology, maths and general science; class 10 to 12 products are working models and investigatory projects; engineering projects for diploma and BTech students are made to order.
Do the projects come with a project report?
Where the listing says so. Look for the "With report" badge on the product card; the listing says what is in the box. A report can also be asked for with a made-to-order project.
How long before my exhibition should I order?
Early enough to test the model at home and practise. The marketplace shows the delivery date for your PIN code before you pay. For a made-to-order model, send your date on WhatsApp first and we will tell you whether it can be done in time.
Can you make a model on a topic that is not listed?
Send the topic, your class and the date you need it by on WhatsApp. We reply with whether it can be made, the price and a dispatch date. Bulk orders for schools are quoted the same way.
Do you deliver outside Delhi?
Orders placed on Amazon are delivered by the marketplace, which shows the delivery date for your PIN code before you pay. Made-to-order projects are sent by courier from Delhi.
What should I check when the order arrives?
Open it carefully, compare it with the listing and test it the same day. The checklist on this page covers the rest, from fresh batteries to carrying it to school.
Do you also teach robotics?
Yes. Gurukul Technicals Institute runs robotics and coding classes for school students at the institute in Delhi, and robotics workshops in schools. See Robotics in the menu.
