A member centre is your business, run under your name. These are the parts the head office takes on, the parts you take on, and the parts you do together.

A centre with at least 2 computers and internet

Teaching, under your centre’s own name
Exams (the institute prefers written exams, taken in front of a teacher)
Valid photo ID and a 10+2 marksheet when you apply

Membership is the computer institute franchise programme of Gurukul Technicals Institute, Delhi. It is for people who run a computer training centre anywhere in India or plan to open one. You run the centre yourself, under your own name with Gurukul Technicals Institute branding and certificates, as an authorised Gurukul Technicals Institute member centre. The Delhi head office supplies the member kit, study notes, exams, and Gurukul Technicals Institute certificates and marksheets for your students.

Exams and certificates

We prefer written exams, taken in front of a teacher. Students who pass receive a Gurukul Technicals Institute proficiency certificate and marksheet.

Certificates come to you by courier. We send the tracking number on the day of dispatch.

Employers can verify Gurukul Technicals Institute certificates with the head office. Email the certificate to engineergurukul@yahoo.co.in. The check takes 2 working days.

What you need to apply

Membership is open to computer centre owners, people planning a new centre, our students who want to open their own centre, and businesses or groups entering or expanding in IT education and training.

A valid government photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card
A 10+2 marksheet
At least 2 computers, with internet
An internet-enabled mobile phone with WhatsApp
You are not a government servant

How to join

Check that you meet the requirements above.

An executive from the head office advises you on taking membership.
You receive a colour-printed membership certificate and the member kit.

Courses we offer

Students above 12 years of age can take admission. Our course list includes:

Software: Tally with GST, ADCA (advanced computer applications), web design, DTP (desktop publishing), Java and C
Typing in English, Hindi and regional languages
Hardware and networking, PC maintenance and mobile repairing
Courses for class 10 pass students in areas such as web development, networking, databases and IT security, over 6 months or 1 year
Spoken English, shorthand, beautician, dress design and computer teacher training

How much does it cost?

The head office quotes the current membership fee and what the kit includes when you enquire. Ask for it in writing before you pay anything.

Is a Gurukul Technicals Institute certificate valid for government jobs?

Gurukul Technicals Institute certificates are issued by the institute and verified by the head office on request. Whether any private certificate is accepted for a particular job or course depends on that employer or department, so check their rules before you promise it to a student.

Can my students verify their certificates?

Yes. Employers and students can email a copy of the certificate to the head office and get a reply within 2 working days.

Do I need to be a computer expert?

You need the eligibility above, two computers with internet and a phone with WhatsApp. The head office provides the training, course material and support listed on this page.
