The franchise portal is where your centre does its day to day paperwork with the head office. It has no fees section and does not replace your own accounts. It helps you enrol students, follow their practice tests, send certificate requests and read head office notices. This walk through follows what the portal pages actually offer.
Your login
Head office adds your centre and gives you a centre code, which looks like C0007, and a temporary password. They are shown once, so keep them safe. Sign in at the login page with your centre code. At first sign-in you set your own password, and the dashboard then confirms it. You can change it later under the password page. Changing it signs out every other device that uses the login.
The dashboard
After sign-in the dashboard shows your centre name and code, your active students, total students, issued certificates, requests waiting and tests in the last 30 days. A getting started checklist ticks itself: set your own password, enrol your first student, a student takes a practice test, request your first certificate. Below you see recent students, head office notices, your latest certificate requests and students by course.
Step 1: enrol a student
- Choose Enrol a student.
- Fill in the student name, guardian name, date of birth, mobile, email, the course, the batch and the admission date. The name, course and admission date are required. The batch is any name that helps you group students, for example Morning 9 to 11.
- Submit. The portal warns you if the student may already be enrolled. Open the existing record or tick Enrol anyway if it is truly a second enrolment.
Step 2: the login slip
After enrolment the portal shows the student login details. The enrolment number, for example C0007-00042, is the student login ID, and a temporary password is created. The temporary password is shown only once. Print the login slip and hand it to the student. The student chooses their own password at first sign-in. If it is lost, reset it from the student page. There is a limit on how many students can be enrolled in an hour, so enrol in batches of reasonable size.
Step 3: study material, books and ebooks
Under Study material you can read the lessons and practice questions your students see, course by course, and print a lesson as a handout. Under Study books you can read a book, then print the whole book, one chapter, the test without answers for a class test or the answer key for yourself, on A4 portrait. Under Free ebooks you find the whole library to share with students. Teaching with the free resources shows how to use them in class.
Step 4: follow test results
Test results lists every practice test and typing test your students have submitted from the student portal, with averages and best scores by subject and the best result per student. Use the averages to see which subject needs more class time, and speak to students whose scores are low.
Step 5: request a certificate
When a student passes your centre final exam, choose Request a certificate. Pick the student, enter marks obtained, maximum marks and the exam date, and add an optional note for head office, such as a spelling to check. You can send a request for active or completed students. A student can have only one waiting request per course, and none for a course they already hold a certificate for. Head office reviews each request. When it is approved, the certificate appears under Certificate requests and Issued certificates, and the status changes to approved. If it is rejected, read the head office note and send a corrected request from the student page.
Certificate numbers and checks
An approved certificate gets a random number such as GT26-7K4P-9QX2. Anyone can check a number on the verify certificate page. Head office can withdraw or reinstate a certificate, and the public check then says so.
Notices and the profile
Notices shows announcements from head office for centres, with pinned notices at the top. The latest also appear on the dashboard. Your centre profile shows your details as head office holds them and is read only, because certificates must carry the right centre name. Send any change to head office by email or WhatsApp.
This guide is general advice for planning. It states no membership fee and promises no income, student numbers or acceptance of a certificate by any employer. Ask the head office for the current fee and terms in writing, and check local rules and tax with a professional. Use the planner to test your own numbers.
