About this path

Most office jobs ask for the same things: a letter typed and printed without mistakes, a sheet that adds up, an email with the right attachment, and all of it done quickly. This path builds those skills in the order they depend on each other.

Start at the stage that matches what you already know. Each stage is a course with its own page, study books and timed practice tests in the student portal, and free ebooks anyone can download. Your centre gives the schedule for each course.

Your centre gives the schedule for each stage. This page does not quote durations or fees.

The stages, in order

  1. Stage 1: Basic computer and the internet

Everything else sits on this: the desktop, files and folders, the browser, email and safe habits online.

    After this stage you can

    • Use the Windows desktop, File Explorer and the Start menu with confidence
    • Search the web, write a proper email and send an attachment
    • Spot phishing messages and UPI or OTP fraud before they cost you money

  3. Stage 3: Typing in English, Hindi and regional languages

    After this stage you can

    • Type without looking at the keys, from the home row
    • Measure your words per minute and accuracy and improve them with a daily plan
    • Start typing in Hindi

    After this stage you can

    • Check entries against the source document and fix errors systematically
    • Set up tables with data validation, drop-down lists and conditional formatting

    After this stage you can

    • Clean a messy sheet and look values up with XLOOKUP and INDEX/MATCH
    • Summarise thousands of rows with SUMIFS and a pivot table
    • Build a simple dashboard that updates when the data changes
